PROPOSED AGENDA

Notice of Primary Language Services - Governing Board Agendas and Meetings

An oral Spanish translation of the Board Agenda may be obtained by telephoning 636-6568.

 

District parents/guardians may request the assistance of a Spanish language translator at a meeting of the Governing Board. Requests for a translator must be made at least 30 hours prior to the commencement of regular meetings of the Governing Board and at least 8 hours prior to the commencement of special or emergency meetings of the Governing Board.

 

To request a translator telephone the Assistant to the Director of Student Services at 792-4711 and provide your name, your student’s name, your telephone number, and the agenda item(s) you desire to be translated.

Se puede obtener una traducción oral de la Agenda de la Reunión de la Mesa Directiva llamando al 636-6568.

 

Padres/guardianes del Distrito pueden solicitar la asistencia de un intérprete español en las reuniones de la Mesa Directiva.  Es necesario solicitarlo al menos 30 horas antes del comienzo de las reuniones regulares de la Mesa Directiva, y al menos 8 horas antes del comienzo de las reuniones de emergencia o especiales de la Mesa Directiva. 

 

Para solicitar un intérprete, llame a la asistente de la Directora de Servicios Estudiantiles al 792-4711 y dé su nombre, el de su estudiante, su número de teléfono y el tema(s) de la agenda que desea se le traduzca.

Individuals may address the Board of Education on agenda items at the time those are under consideration by completing the form provided on the table at the entrance to this hall and submitting the form to the executive assistant.

Individuals may address the Board of Education concerning school business not on the agenda by completing the form provided on the table at the entrance to this hall and submitting the form to the executive assistant, but public comment cannot be acted upon or discussed by the Board unless placed on an agenda at a subsequent meeting, in accordance with the law (Brown Act). The Board may request staff to respond orally at the meeting or in writing at a future time.

Public comments are limited to five minutes per individual. The Board will hear 20 minutes of public comment at this time. Speakers will be chosen in random order. Each person may only speak once, and is required to address the Board from the podium. The meeting is recorded.
