Tardy Information:
A student will be considered tardy if she/he arrives to class after 8:15am.
| 1st Tardy | No Consequences |
| 2nd Tardy | No Consequences |
| 3rd Tardy | Student will make up missed class time in the office during first recess. |
| 4th Tardy | Student will make up missed class time in the office during first recess and meet with the principal. |
| 5th Tardy | Student will make up missed class time in the office during first recess and serve an additional 20-minute lunch detention. |
| 6th Tardy | Student is considered an habitual truant. Attempt to remedy the problem have been unsuccessful. Parents and Student will meet with the principal to resolve the problem. |

| We recognize that sometimes events beyond our control cause students to be late. That is why we provide two tardies every trimester without consequences. Here are some reasons why it is important for your child to be on time for school:
- Being late makes the day begin in a hectic and rushed way for your child - When a child enters the classroom late, the teacher must stop and repeat what has been missed. - Even 5 minutes of tardiness disrupts education for everyone in class. Please make every effort to be on time for school!!
