A Penny for their thoughts - all year
Thomas Page School has started to collect pennies - a million of them, in fact. We're using the pennies as a springboard for academic experiences in measurement, counting, estimating, history, and other disciplines. In addition, the pennies collected will be redeemed to raise funds for PTA activities to benefit the school's other academic programs. If you have a jar of pennies collecting dust somewhere, please donate it! We'd also like to place collection containers in local businesses, so if you own or frequently visit one, ask about getting a jar to place.

Did you know that you could raise money
for Thomas Page School every time you went grocery shopping?
Local grocery stores have programs that contribute a certain
percentage of your monthly spending to our school. Raley's
and Albertson's both have cards that you use when you shop
at their stores. All you have to do is present your card when
you reach the checkout (before your transaction is complete).
That's it. The stores keep track of your purchases and send
a check to the school each quarter. Sounds pretty simple.
If you are interested, stop by the office and we will give
you a card to either or both stores. You will need to go on-line
to register your card for Raley's. If you do not have access
to a computer, we can help you here at school.
Other ways to help raise money for our school is to:
(1) Save Box Tops from participating companies and send them
with your child(ren) to school. This will help raise money
for the school.
(2) Register your Target Card or Target Visa at your local
store and Target will donate money based on your purchases
made at all Target locations.
