Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District is pleased to partner with the Sonoma County Family YMCA to develop and oversee our After School Education & Safety Program (ASES) at John Reed Elementary and Thomas Page Academy. Our ASES program plan is revised annually based on the needs of our students and families. Please see our most recent ASES Program Plan for the 2023-2026 school years. Para Español haga clic aquí.
The YMCA ASES Program provides education and recreation opportunities in a safe, productive environment for students during non-school hours. The day consists of age appropriate activities such as educational crafts and games, dramatic play, sports, special events, and supervised homework time! Children are also served a healthy snack, which is provided by our community partners at the Redwood Food Bank. Our goal is to meet the needs of our students by offering safe, accessible and affordable programs.
Priority registration is given to families who meet one or more of the following criteria: Eligible for free or reduced meals, families experiencing homelessness, foster youth or students who have been identified as English Learners. Eligible students will receive access to the YMCA ASES program free of charge during the school year. For more information about qualifications, contact Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District’s Expanded Learning Program Manager Alana De Mars or 707-792-4562.
The YMCA ASES Program calendar runs from the first day of school through the last day of school (excluding holidays). Students have the option of registering for before and/or after school care.
