Interdistrict Transfers

Transfer Requests

The Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District accepts Interdistrict Transfer requests from students in Transitional Kindergarten through twelfth grade who live outside of the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District boundaries and wish to attend a district school. The parent/guardian must first contact their school of residence to obtain a release from the district. Once obtained, Cotati-Rohnert Park will consider the request. If approved, Interdistrict Transfers are valid for 5 years, or until a change of school happens. Please note some Sonoma County School Districts will only recognize Interdistrict Transfers on an annual basis. If this is the case with the school district you are transferring from, you will need to apply for an interdistrict transfer annually.
