Middle School Opportunities

In the Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District, we have three middle school programs.  Lawrence Jones Middle School and Technology Middle School are grades 6-8 schools in Rohnert Park.  We also have Thomas Page Academy, which is a K-8 school in Cotati with a middle school program.  All three schools have unique programs and will prepare your student well for the challenges of high school.

To determine which middle school your student is currently expected to attend, please click here. The website will tell you the middle school your student is currently targeted to attend based on their home address.  If your student is now a 5th grader at Thomas Page Academy, they are expected to continue their enrollment at the school without completing an Intradistrict Transfer Form.

We Encourage You to Return The Intradistrict Transfer Paperwork Via Email

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we encourage you to return the Intradistrict Transfer paperwork via email. Please send your completed forms to Rina Fabros in Student Services.

We are still accepting forms at Student Services in Building J at the District Office Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

2. Application Processing

Open Enrollment (January 5 – February 28): On March 1st, all transfer requests will be processed over four weeks and parents will be informed of their transfer approval or denial, subject to space availability.  If there are more requests than spaces available, a lottery will take place.

Non-Open Enrollment (March 1 – August 1): Transfers will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to space availability.  Transfer requests received during open enrollment will have a higher priority.

3. PARENTS NOTIFIED

Parents/Guardians will be notified by U.S. Mail of application approval or denial within four weeks (March 29th for open enrollment).

Please get your Intradistrict Transfer application turned in to the Student Services department by February 28th.
